"BBII" (Ex Tag Team III), a Viking 37’ Billfish, has been turning heads ever since it got to Cabo. A telltale sign of the excitement around it is that all the Captains and crews have been itching to check it out and keeping fingers crossed for a day out on the water on board. Pisces is the first charter fleet to make it available to anglers in Mexico, Canada and the Western USA. The brand new, Viking Billfish is a true accomplishment from Viking; providing the whole package for anglers looking for luxury, stability and comfort found on larger sportfishers with the speed and maneuverability of a center console. As Marlin Magazine puts it, "The 37 Billfish is equipped for serious fishing. It incorporates reliable Cummins 550-horsepower QSB 6.7 diesels, bow thruster and the ability to back down and a turn on a dime, giving it the finesse of a prima ballerina with that of a spirited sports car." This vessel packs a punch and reach speeds of up to 40 mph.
"BBII" makes no compromises on anything, featuring excellent fit and finish on its high-gloss Juno teak wood. A/C is found throughout, including the salon, command deck and even at the mezzanine, which offers much more than a great seat from which to watch the action in the 86-square-foot cockpit, which includes a Release Marine fighting chair. Refrigerated fish box and tackle center with bait prep center and tons of storage under seats. Fully forward is the stateroom, a crossover layout, with a private head. Fine woodwork is evident, as are large storage areas. A fully equipped galley is amidships, and the salon features two large bench seats and dinette; all air-conditioned.
"BBII" has all Shimano tackle ranging from 20’s to 80’s. It also includes two Lindgren Pitman (LP) dredge reels and various teasers for billfish. The boat is equipped with tuna tubes, kites for fishing large yellowfin and a SeaKeeper 5 for absolute comfort, reducing boat roll on the water, which makes an outstanding difference on those rough days at sea. Garmin electronics throughout include of course, depth and fish finder.
